Wilmington Trust has appointed Timothy Powers as new managing director and head of trust administration for its Advisor Solutions Group.
In his new role, Powers will be responsible for setting the fiduciary strategic direction for the Advisor Solutions Group, focusing on best practices and adherence to government regulations.

He will be based in the Advisor Solutions Group main office situated in Wilmington, Del.
Powers joined Wilmington Trust from Morgan Stanley, where he served as chief fiduciary officer overseeing a team of more than 50 trust professionals across seven offices.
Prior to this, he worked as a senior trust officer at UBS Trust Company and as chief trust officer at Citi Trust.
Wilmington Trust’s Advisor Solutions Group group manager John Hurley said: "Tim’s expertise will help ensure we are approaching our administrative duties in the most efficient and effective manner with the right level of risk oversight."
