Kames Capital, a specialist investment management business, has strengthened its fixed income team by appointing Mark Benbow as an investment analyst focusing on high yield bonds.
Reporting to Philip Milburn, Mark will analyse opportunities in the high yield space and will work closely with Claire McGuckin, Stephen Baines and Debbie King.

Mark, who has six years’ industry experience, joins from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, where he was an analyst on the global equities team with responsibility for global telecommunications research.
He began his career as a trainee stockbroker with Redmayne Bentley, before joining Morgan Stanley as a financial analyst.
Mark’s analytical skills will help us to exploit opportunities in high yield bonds at a time of growing dispersion of returns across sectors and individual bonds. We will benefit from his deep knowledge of the telecommunications sector and his experience of equities research in a global context. We welcome him to the firm.
