Societe Generale Private Banking has named Eric Verleyen as its new global chief investment officer (CIO).
Additionally, Verleyen has been appointed as deputy head of portfolio management solutions.

Verleyen will be responsible for defining the bank’s investment policy, communicating investment guidelines and providing support to portfolio managers and investment advisors.
Verleyen will report to Olivier Gerard, global head of portfolio management solutions, in Luxembourg alongside Paul Wiltshire, head of wealth management solutions at Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros.
Verleyen, who joined Societe Generale Bank & Trust Luxembourg as discretionary management head in 2005, was most recently group chief investment officer of Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros.
Prior to joining Societe Generale, Verleyen worked with KBL Luxembourg as head of portfolio manager’s team and also at Sakura Bank Luxembourg.
