Coutts has appointed Alison Bishop as the new executive director for its ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) private office division.

Bishop will be responsible for imparting advice on wealth structuring, investments, bonds and protection in her newly created role as senior wealth manager, executive director.

In her new role, she will report directly to Adrian Jones, who is designated as managing director in Coutts Private Office.

Bishop started her career fifteen years ago on the trading floor at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, where she managed institutional European high yield sales.

She most recently served as a desk head within the UHNW business of Credit Suisse Private Bank.

Before that, she served at JP Morgan Private Bank, where she headed the financial sponsors’ team for seven years.
