EeC will leverage Shepherd’s existing investment vehicles as well as create new ones to address the markets in the UK, US and Europe with focus on loans issued by established platforms.
The investment vehicle will provide investors with access to a dozen P2P platforms across the US and the UK, which on average will return 5% to 10% on loans of two to five years.
The new partnership will target 7% net returns to investors after a management fee of 100-125 basis points, less than 1% volatility, and will offer quarterly liquidity.
Eiffel eCapital founder Etienne Boillot said: "The online lending industry’s explosive growth represents a fundamental shift. Today, consumers and small businesses can borrow directly from savers and investors, rather than from banks who no longer have the desire or ability to lend to them."
