Thatch will be replaced by Brian Rosevear at Merrill Lynch, the publication said.

At the same time, the managed money arm of Merrill Lynch has named Sandy Bolton as its new head of investment solutions.

Bolton, who is set to join in the new position later this month, has managed mutual fund, exchange-traded fund and separately managed accounts for over 20 years at TD Ameritrade Holdings and Pershing.
