Swiss asset management firm Edmond de Rothschild has appointed Eric Coutts as the new CEO of its UK business, effective April 1.
Coutts will replace Richard Briance following his departure besides continuing his role as the head of corporate finance at the firm.

He will report to Emmanuel Fievet, who is becoming chairman of Edmond de Rothschild (UK).
Coutts, who has 25 years of banking experience, previously worked with Citigroup as head of banking in France.
Fievet said: "We are grateful to Richard Briance for his contributions to the Edmond de Rothschild Group over the past five years. He has created a strong platform for the realisation of our ambitious plans for our London business."
