Advent Capital Management, a US-based investment manager, has appointed Alex von Ziegesar as the new managing director of business development.
Based in New York, Ziegesar will oversee the marketing of various traditional and alternative strategies in the US institutional channel. He will report to the firm’s COO Kris Haber.

Alex has an experience of 19 years, and most recently led investor relations and business development at Talara Capital Management in New York.
He previously also headed alternative investment sales at BBVA, as well as held several sales roles at Societe Generale, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley.
