"Nandu is another significant hire for Rothschild. With twenty years in the industry, he is highly respected and a valuable addition to our growing team," said Gary Powell, Head of Rothschild’s UK Private Banking business. "Rothschild’s family ownership through seven generations makes us ideally placed to provide advice to sophisticated high-net-worth individuals and families with complex investment and wealth planning requirements. Nandu’s experience with a broad range of clients makes him ideally suited to help us meet the increasing demand for Rothschild’s services. His time spent working with UK charities in particular will help us to serve this important client base for Rothschild."

Nandu’s appointment follows the announcement last week that Rothschild has hired a leading team to its UK private banking business. Helen Watson and Mark Kary join as Managing Directors, Helen from Morgan Stanley and Mark from Polar Capital Holdings, along with James Morrell, who also worked at Morgan Stanley.

Nandu will join Rothschild in June and be based in London, reporting to Gary Powell.
