Joint global
research roles
Cox’s responsibility for
global research and investments will now be split, with Tom Lee
taking up the role of head of global banking & investment
solutions (GBIS), BWA, and Rob Brown continuing as head of
GBIS, UK, EMEA and Asia.
Brown and Lee will also
be appointed co-heads of global research. Both will join the
Barclays Wealth management committee

Crucial area of

To help closer align
their direct channels to clients, Barclays Stockbrokers, Wealth
International and Wealth Intermediaries will come together under
the leadership of Peter Horrell.
Rupert
Dickinson has now been appointed as head of Barclays
Stockbrokers and will report to Horrell.
This change will enable
Des Byrne to concentrate solely on his role as head of core,
UKand Ireland Private Bank, which Barclays said is a crucial area
of focus and growth for the bank.
