The bank has recruited advisors from its competitor firms for its Wealth Management Americas (WMA) division.

The new team includes four advisory groups and a new senior vice president, who will be responsible to expand UBS’s advisory branch nation-wide with additional clients and combined assets under management of over US$1.6 billion.

Wright Ramage Wealth Management Group, led by senior vice president Robert Wright and senior portfolio manager Barry Ramage, has joined WMA’s Albany, New York office. Wright Ramage was formerly with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Hudson, New York branch and oversees US$380 million in AUM.

Ellentuck Wealth Management Group, having US$340 million in AUM and US$3.4 million in production, joins WMA’s Florham Park, New Jersey office. Todd Ellentuck, the team’s leader, will be managing director of the branch and will report to Michael Price, complex director. Previously, Ellentuck was with Morgan Stanley.

Another hiring from Morgan Stanley is the Pierce/Kyle Group, led by senior vice presidents Wallace Kyle and Frederick Pierce. The group joins WMA’s Florham Park office and manages approximately US$236 million in assets and more than US$1.8 million in production. Michael Price will be the reporting head of the group.

The Palumbo, Short, D’Amato & Dixon Group from Bank of America/Merrill Lynch will also be reporting to Michael Price at the Florham Park office. The team manages over US$675 million in AUM and has US$4 million in production.
