The new hires are Mark Leyton, Zach Shillingford, Gannon McCaffery and Darin Laub, who will report to Mark Stevenson, Barclays’ managing director and regional manager for New York.

Leyton joins Barclays as a managing director from Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management division. At Deutsche, he focused on creating customized solutions for ultra high net worth individuals, corporate executives and professional investors.
Prior to joining Deutsche in 2004, Leyton advised high net worth clients at Salomon Smith Barney and Lehman Brothers.
Shillingford, a director, joins from Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management division. Prior to joining Deutsche in 2005, he was an advisor to high net worth clients at Janney Montgomery.
McCaffery joins as vice president and was previously was with Deutsche Bank. In his previous role in Deutsche Bank’s U.S. Private Institutional Client Group, he offered capital market solutions to ultra high net worth clients and family offices.

Laub joins Barclays as a vice president, after 13 years at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He was a financial advisor serving high net worth individuals and families. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he worked at Prudential Securities in the Private Client Group.
