Sarasin will take over his new role on 1 January 2013 and will report directly to the head of private banking and member of the bank’s executive committee, Eric Sarasin.
As the head of head of Central and Eastern Europe, Sarasin will be responsible for managing business booked in Switzerland for private clients domiciled in Poland and Russia.

Prior to joining Bank Sarasin in 2002, Sarasin had worked at Union Bank of Switzerland and had then moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he was responsible for mergers & acquisitions.
Till the year 2008, Sarasin had a management role in the private clients business at Bank Sarasin based in Basel. Later, he spent four years setting up and managing the new representative office in Warsaw.
