Natixis Global said that the fund will invest in global firms, and is not limited by traditional index sectors or exclusionary approaches to impact investing.
The fund seeks to maintain a concentrated portfolio of nearly 50 stocks. It will be co-managed by Jens Peers, Suzanne Senellart, and Hua Cheng.
The fund, which aims to differ from the benchmark in size and sector weights, will have relatively low turnover, due to its extended investment horizon.
Natixis Global Asset Management president and CEO for US and Canadian distribution David Giunta said: "We are pleased to offer the Mirova Global Sustainable Equity Fund to investors who are looking at their futures and wanting a modern ESG fund that can be used as a core global equity allocation, investing in companies with strong fundamentals that have shown a commitment to corporate responsibility."
