Meakem, a 34-year industry veteran, is a financial advisor and managing partner of the practice. She has worked at Ferris & Co., Legg Mason and Wachovia Securities. Meakem’s daughter, Richmond, is also a financial advisor and managing partner, and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. She had joined her mother’s practice in 2006 after ten years as a litigation attorney.
The advisors have formed an independent firm, The Meakem Group, and will offer securities through Raymond James Financial Services.
