Taylor, who had spent 19 years in a range of wealth management, retail banking, mortgage and credit risk positions with Lloyds Banking Group, had started his career in Wealth Management with Prudential Assurance.
Most recently, he had held the position of head of mortgages in Dubai at Lloyds Banking Group, prior to which he was the head of business development for retail banking.

He had moved to the UAE in 2004 to join the international wealth team in the offshore banking division from his former base in Central Scotland, UK where he developed the wealth team in retail banking.
