The new hires includes seven bankers for the Hong Kong office and four in Singapore office, bringing the firm’s total Greater China headcount to almost 100.

Of the 11, three are team heads, Michael Chan, Nancy Jin and Joel Lim. Chan and Jin will be based in Hong Kong while Lim will be based in Singapore.

Chan had joined the firm in August 2012, prior to which he was the senior vice president at Coutts Hong Kong. In his new Hong Kong-focused role at Bank of Singapore, he will report to Edward Chow, managing director and market head of Greater China.

Jin, meanwhile, was previously the managing director of Guosen Securities (Hong Kong) Asset Management and had joined Bank of Singapore in November 2012. In her new role, Jin will focus on the offshore China market for BoS, reporting to Johnson Xu, managing director and market head of Greater China, based in Hong Kong.

Lim had joined BoS in May 2012. Earlier, he was with HSBC Private Bank in Singapore, where he set up the China team. At BoS, he reports to Arthur Fong, managing director and market head of Greater China, based in Singapore.

The other new appointments include Denise Ma, Teresa Fung and Winnie Wong in Hong Kong, while the bankers, Vanessa Bock and Charine Wong, will be based in Singapore.
