Brunt joined the company in July 2012. Earlier, he was with Openwork, where he was finance director.
Brunt has replaced David Capel who had worked as CFO for Intrinsic Financial Services since it was founded in 2005. There was a six month handover period and Capel will remain with the company for a short time before he retires.

In December 2012, the firm has appointed Simon Davies, Threadneedle’s former chairman, as a non-executive director.
Davies was chairman of Threadneedle Investments up until his retirement last summer. He had been with the asset manager since 1995, when he joined as chief investment officer.
Davies succeeded Paul Manduca, who has been appointed as Prudential’s chairman, and chairs Intrinsic’s investment committee.
