Jalles will work as the chief executive officer with immediate effect. Previously he was working as the head of HSBC Cayman.

He had formed his own financial services consulting company known as Javelin Group, in 2012. He has six years experience at HSBC Cayman. He worked as Director of International Development at the firm’s London offices, Managing Director at HSBC Bermuda, and Chief Investment Officer at HSBC Argentina.
Till last year, Jalles was president of the Cayman Islands Bankers’ Association.
