He will be based in Singapore from mid-March 2013 and will report to Andrew Hendry, managing director, M&G Asia. He had joined M&G in February 2013.

Prior to joining M&G, de Bruijckere was the head of Asian distribution at LGT Capital Management in Singapore.

Before that he had spent 20 years with ABN AMRO Asset Management in Amsterdam, Milan, Singapore and Hong Kong in roles that involved fixed income portfolio management, institutional sales and business management.

Most recently, he was the CEO of Singapore and head of institutional sales, South & Southeast Asia.
