Baring Asset Management has appointed JP Morgan Asset Management’s Paul Loss as its head of operations.
Based in London, Loss will report to chief operating officer John Burns at Baring and will be responsibility for delivering an "efficient and effective operations platform" in line with principles laid out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Loss was most recently JP Morgan AM’s head of investment operations and was previously the asset manager’s head of institutional client services.
He has also previously worked as assistant director of client services at Robert Fleming & Co.
