The asset manager will moved the fund to the IMA Global Equity Income sector from the UK Equity Income sector on 3 July 2013.
The fund, which is managed by Gary West, James Inglis-Jones and Samantha Gleave, will be able to invest globally and allow it to benefit from greater diversification of stocks and sectors.

Liontrust says that the move will allow the fund, which is managed using the Liontrust Cashflow Solution investment process, to increase the possibility of finding stocks with better return potential over the medium to long term.
The asset manager added that the move will not result in changes to the fund’s expected dividend yield and risk profile, while the portfolio is anticipated to remain at a similar concentration to its current 26 stocks.
