North Investment Partners’ fund analyst, Nick Roberts, has left the firm to join JP Morgan.
Roberts has joined the multi asset team at JP Morgan. North’s chief executive, John Husselbee, said the firm still intends on recruiting a new person in Roberts’ place.

He added: "It is an inevitable truth that large operator’s will look to harvest talent from smaller counterparts. In a way investment is no different to people. Chelsea and Manchester City scoop up young players, so do the big investment houses. We wish him well."
Roberts joined North in June 2011 from Gartmore where he worked alongside Tony Lanning.
North manages GBP380 million (US$583 million) with in excess of GBP70million after a further three advisory firms outsourced their investment proposition.
