"One of the best opportunities to create jobs and stimulate long-term growth is through major trade deals, which make it easier for UK firms and their overseas counterparts to do business by lowering costs.
"The EU provides a vital platform for the UK to increase its trade with other parts of the world.
"It is in everybody’s interests to get a deal agreed for the long-term benefit of both the EU and US economies. Negotiations aren’t going to be easy, but with a combined population of 800 million people and almost half the world’s GDP, the rewards for all of our citizens will be well worth the hard graft."
