UK fund management group Kames Capital has introduced a global diversified income fund that aims to offer sustainable income and capital growth to investors.

The new vehicle, targeting a monthly income of 5% per year and a total return of 7-8% after fees over three to five years, will invest in high yield bonds and investment grades, listed property, global equities and specialist income.

To offer a diversified, low correlation, portfolio comprising 200-300 holdings, it will integrate top-down macroeconomic views with bottom-up stock selection.

The Dublin-domiciled fund will be available in multiple European countries including the UK, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Guernsey, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden as well as Switzerland.

It will also be available in a range of share classes including US Dollar, Sterling, Swiss Franc and Swedish Krona, with Euro as the base currency.

The fund will be run by Vincent McEntegart, who is also responsible for managing the fund’s UK-domiciled counterpart Kames Diversified Income.
