Kleinwort Benson has appointed Ron Dicks, a family office specialist, as its head of private wealth management business in South Africa.
Dicks will be based in Cape Town and will report to Clive Wright, head of PWM, offshore.

In his new role, Dicks will be responsible for managing and developing the South African private wealth management business.
He will also work with other colleagues in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man to drive the growth of the business and support the needs of intermediaries, corporate clients and Ultra High Net Worth individuals.
Dicks was formerly a partner at Citadel where he played a major role in developing family office capabilities. He also worked as a Family Office financial adviser at Absa.
Dicks has over 20 years of experience in various sectors such as legal, financial and banking.
