Generali Investments has appointed Santo Borsellino as its new chief executive, replacing current CEO Philippe Setbon who quit the firm to join French group Groupama Asset Management.
Borsellino has joined Generali Investments in 2008 as head of equities and will take up his new role on 24 June 2013.

Setbon, currently based in Italy, had been with Generali since 2004 and was named chairman and CEO of Generali Investments asset management division in 2009.
