Calculus Capital has appointed Richard Moore in its investment unit as director of the team.

Moore joins from Citigroup where he worked from 2005 to 2013, and most recently held the position of head of the European technology (TMT) investment banking team.

Moore, who qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG, has also worked at Flemings and JP Morgan. He brings with him over 14 years of experience advising on private equity investments, buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates, public equity and debt offerings, and leveraged buy outs in the UK, Europe, US and Asia.

Moore is the third new addition to Calculus’s investment team in nine months. Rick Jones, a director at Rothschild for 13 years, also joined as an investment director in September 2012 and Roshan Puri was hired as an investment associate in February 2013, after qualifying as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Young.
