Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) has confirmed the appointment of its operations director Julie Sadler as chief risk officer (CRO), following approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Sadler joined SBG as head of operations in May 2012, and was promoted to operations director in November 2012.

Sadler has over 20 years industry experience with compliance and risk management across the financial services industry. Before joining the firm she has held senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group and The Consulting Consortium.
Sadler takes over the post from the interim CRO, Shaun O’Leary, who has left the firm after the completion of his contract.
SBG chief executive officer, George Higginson, said: "Julie has a key role in implementing our improved systems and controls framework. Alongside our multi-million pound investment in technology, this in turn will ensure that our advisers are delivering the right customer outcomes that can be clearly evidenced."
On 05 Jun 2013, PBI reported that Sesame Bankhall Group, had been fined GBP6,031,200 (US$9.2 million) by the FCA with regard to Keydata advice failings.
