Manulife Investments Japan has said it will introduce a new investment trust fund ‘Manulife Asia Oceania Growing Small Cap Equity Fund’, on 31 July 2013.

Manulife Investments added that it will offer this new fund publicly through its partner sales companies, including Ace Securities, H.S. Securities, Ichiyoshi Securities, Kyokuto Securities, PWM Japan Securities, Rakuten Securities and SBI Securities during the initial offering period from 16 July 16 2013 to 30 July 2013.

The new fund will invest in the Luxembourg domiciled MGF (Manulife Global Fund) Asian Small Cap Equity Fund, which invests in stocks of Asian and Pacific markets and the Manulife Japanese Bond Index Mother Fund investing in Japanese yen-denominated public and corporate bonds.

The ‘MGF Asian Small Cap Equity Fund’ was launched by Manulife Asset Management (Hong Kong) in November 2006, and has continued to deliver excellent investment performance since its inception.
