Canada Life Investments has strengthened its sales team by appointing Matt Couzens as the sales investments director, and Deirdre McNamara as the head of third party relationships.

Canada Life Investments has created and filled two new positions to promote its range of Oeics and unit trusts to UK investors. Both Couzens and McNamara will report to Canada Life Investments head of sales and marketing Frank Maret.
Matt Couzens will focus on the discretionary and advisor markets. Before joining the company, Couzens was associate director of UK wealth management at Russell Investments after spending five years at Legal & General Investment Management.
McNamara will be responsible for dealing with nationals, networks, platforms and rating agencies. Earlier, McNamara was at Legal & General for ten years and most recently held the role of third party relationship manager.
