Japanese brokerage firm Invast Securities has opened its Australian operations after being granted a license by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

Under the leadership of CEO Brendan Gunn, Invast Australia will offer various trading platforms to cater to the different types of traders and investors.
Invast Australia will also offer a wide range of products including FX, indices, commodities, direct shares and a new proprietary trading tool called ST24 which will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year.
The new executive team of Invast Australia includes Andrew Taylor, COO; Yuichiro Omura, CFO; and Gavin White, managing director, head of sales.
Taylor has over 20 years of experience in financial markets across various asset classes, with a strong focus on investment and debt management for both business and individuals. He will focus on managing Invast’s business operations.

White brings with him more than 20 years of trading experience both in Australia and Asia Pacific markets. He will be responsible for developing the firm’s client base and product offering throughout Australia and Asia Pacific.
