UK’s investment manager Threadneedle Investments has appointed Alastair Caw as the new head of UK wholesale.

Caw will replace Gary Collins, who was promoted to head of EMEA wholesale sales earlier this year.
Previously, Caw was head of UK discretionary at Threadneedle. Reporting to Collins, he will be responsible for leading the firm’s UK wholesale distribution.
Collins said: "We have a very strong wholesale distribution team in place and we are focused on serving our clients and partnering with them to deliver effective solutions against a backdrop of continuing change in the industry and a challenging investment landscape."
The change is the latest in a series of promotions and changes to Threadneedle’s distribution team. Nick Ring was promoted to head of distribution, while Dominik Kremer became head of EMEA sales, institutional, and Rupert Pybus took the role of distribution COO.
