Adviser-owned wrap Nucleus has appointed IFA Mike Seddon as chairman of its influential advisory board.

In his new role, Seddon will be responsible for representing the views of Nucleus users to the management team and group board.

Seddon will take up the role with immediate effect after being voted to act as chairman by fellow members of the advisory board, which meets quarterly.

Seddon replaces Central Investment managing director John Moore, who stepped down at the end of last year due to ill health.
Seddon with over 22 years experience as an independent financial adviser has been managing director of chartered financial planner firm Grayside since February 2012 and the firm became a member of Nucleus in 2008.

The board, which been meeting since Nucleus’ launch in 2006, is in place to communicate with advisers about future plans and development for the firm.
