Sandy McIntyre, co-chief executive officer, said: "Since joining Sentry in 2005, Dennis has become one of the most disciplined practitioners of the Sentry house style. He has a highly successful track record of managing money, including his management of global assets in his other mandates."

Dennis oversees Sentry’s award-winning investment management team and helps to mentor Sentry’s next generation of portfolio managers in the intricacies of Sentry’s disciplined house style. That house style, applied consistently across Sentry’s entire mutual fund line-up, helped Sentry capture back-to-back Lipper Best Equity Fund Family Awards in 2011 and 2012 for delivering superior risk-adjusted returns.

Sentry also reported that portfolio manager Dana Love has decided to leave the firm.
