Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Akira Suzuki as a non-executive director with effect from 29 August 2013.
Suzuki is currently executive officer and general manager in the Fund Research and Development Division of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation.

The asset manager also announced that Kenichi Miyanaga has resigned as a non-executive director of the company.
Roger Cornick, chairman of Aberdeen Asset Management, said: "I would like to thank Kenichi for his valuable contribution and commitment since joining as a director of the company in November 2009. I am also pleased to welcome Akira to the board."
