Swiss banking major UBS has appointed Juan Luis Perez as global head of research and Barry Hurewitz as global COO of research.
Both Juan and Barry join UBS from Morgan Stanley in December 2013.

As global head of research, Perez will lead and manage the investment bank’s research function and will be responsible to enhance the global research capabilities of the bank.
Perez will report into Andrea Orcel, CEO of UBS Investment Bank, and will also join the investment bank’s Executive Committee.
