Octopus Investments, a London-based fund manager, has launched a new online service portal for investors and advisors to monitor their venture capital trust (VCT) investments, according to Interactive Investor.
According to Interactive Investor, the portal will enable users to check their VCTs through a secure web portal for those investors holding multiple investments with Octopus to monitor their portfolio of products.

The firm said that it is for the first time investors and clients in a single sign-in can view all of their Octopus products.
The new service will also be a valuable asset to advisers in managing their client’s portfolios.
Mike Piddock, business line manager for VCTs at Octopus, said: "Investors are starting to look for the same level of online support from their VCT manager that they receive from their online bank, and that is why we are so pleased that we can now offer them access to this comprehensive tool.
"It will make it easier for investors to understand and manage their VCTs and the relative tax benefits.
