Swiss private bank Pictet has appointed Nicolas Pictet as its new senior partner, replacing Jacques de Saussure who is retiring.

Pictet, a managing partner at the company since 1991, will assume the new role at the end of June.

The private bank has been run by a team of six to nine owners since its establishment in 1805.

Following the changes, it will have six managing partners namely Marc Pictet, Bertrand Demole, Nicolas Pictet, Renaud de Planta, Remy Best and Laurent Ramsey.

Based in Geneva, Pictet offers wealth management, asset management, and asset servicing to private clients and institutions worldwide. At the end of December, the firm managed CHF437bn for clients from offices in 17 countries.
