Investec Asset Management has named Iain Cunningham as a new portfolio manager in its multi-asset team.

In the new role, Cunningham will report to co-head of multi-asset growth Michael Spinks. The 31-member team covers total return and relative return growth strategies, and defensive income.
"We are excited about Iain joining the team given the asset allocation skills and experience that he brings with him. In addition to portfolio management responsibilities, Iain will help to develop Investec’s multi-asset capabilities globally, with a specific focus on our long-standing relative return growth strategies," Spinks said.
Cunningham most recently served at Schroders, where he served for nine years holding investment management roles in the multi-manager and multi-asset investment teams.
At Schroders, he was responsible for co-managing the Schroder ISF Global Multi-Asset Income fund as well as the Global Multi-Asset Allocation fund.
