Hawksmoor Investment Management’s Richard Scott has stepped back from chief investment officer (CIO)) role to take a more active fund management role.
Scott will assume his new role as senior fund manager at the firm to focus on managing the Hawksmoor Vanbrugh and Distribution funds as well as the firm’s model portfolio service.

In his new role, Scott will manage Hawksmoor’s Vanbrugh fund and the PFS Hawksmoor Distribution fund alongside Daniel Lockyer, who has been promoted to head of fund management.
Meanwhile, Jim Wood-Smith will as head of research on the private client side of the business in 2014 to work together with Scott.
Additionally, Ben Conway, who has been promoted to fund manager, will assist Scott and Lockyer on the Vanbrugh and Distribution funds.
Scott, who has joined Hawksmoor from wealth management firm iimia, served as Hawksmoor’s CIO since 2008.
