Jupiter Fund Management’s CEO Edward Bonham Carter is to step down from the role, after a spell of 14 years at the firm.
Carter, who will be replaced by current distribution and strategy director Maarten Slendebroek on 17 March, will continue with the group as vice chairman.

In his new role, Carter will be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders, while reporting to Slendebroek.
Carter joined Jupiter in 1994 from Schroders and was subsequently named chief investment officer in 1999, joint group chief executive in 2000 and group chief executive in 2007.
Slendebroek joined the company in September 2012 after 18 years at BlackRock, most recently as head of the international retail business.
