BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPP IP), the asset management business of the BNP, has hired Pieter Oyens as head of Asia-Pacific investment specialists.
Oyens will be based in Hong Kong and will be responsible for leading BNPP IP’s Asian investment solutions to institutional clients, distributors and wealth management clients.

Additionally, Oyens will lead a team of investment specialists providing an interface between BNPP IP’s Asian investment centres, customer relationship managers and clients globally.
Oyens, who has over 15 years of investment management experience, has joined BNP Paribas from Harvest Global Investments, where he was a managing director focusing on global business development.
BNP Paribas Investment Partners has total assets under management of 473 billion as of 30 September 2013.
