M&G Real Estate, a UK-based asset manager, has appointed Jonathan Clarke as its new director of investment management.
Clarke will be responsible for the investment activities on behalf of M&G’s pension fund and insurance clients, Financial News reported.

Prior to joining M&G Real Estate, Clarke worked with Genesis Housing Association, initially as head of planning and development finance from January 2011 before being appointed corporate finance director in January 2012.
Before Genesis, Clarke served as an assistant director for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the local government and social infrastructure team, within the corporate finance practice.
According to the news agency, the firm’s pension fund will be co-managed by Marcus Phayre-Mudge who also manages the TR Property Investment Trust.
