WH Ireland has promoted Roddy Buchanan, its deputy head of private clients business, to head of wealth management.

Buchanan will assume the new role from CEO Richard Killingbeck, who will now focus on his role as group CEO.

Further, the company has appointed Rupert Yeoward as the deputy head of wealth management.

Yeoward will be responsible for developing the private wealth regional offices in Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Milton Keynes as well as Poole.

Yeoward earlier served as an independent wealth management consultant, and before that served three years at Deutsche Bank and five years at Rathbone Investment Management.
