TCW, a US-based mutual fund provider, has teamed up with Emerging Global Advisors to launch a range of emerging markets fixed income ETFs.

The ETF range, which includes three new products such as EGShares TCW EM Short Term Investment Grade Bond ETF, EGShares TCW EM Intermediate Term Investment Grade Bond ETF, and EGShares TCW EM Long Term Investment Grade Bond ETF, will have a total expense ratio of 65 basis points.

The new funds will enable investors to tailor the duration of their emerging market bond positions to meet their investment objectives.

The funds will provide exposure to short-term, intermediate and long-term US dollar denominated sovereign and corporate emerging market bonds by tracking custom indices created by JPMorgan.

TCW said that partnership with Emerging Global Advisors will provide significant value to investors in emerging market debt.

David Lippman, chief executive of TCW said that the higher yields from the emerging market ETFs would provide a compelling trade when compared to US debt with comparable maturities.
