Cantor Fitzgerald Europe, a leading global financial services firm, has announced the continued expansion of its European Credit fixed income team with the appointment of Franz Bucher as Managing Director in London.
Mr. Bucher will focus on High Yield, Distressed Debt and Special Situations, and on expanding Cantor’s presence in German-speaking markets.

Mr. Bucher joins Cantor from the Austrian Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), where he served as a Senior Director overseeing the company’s work out activities in Financials and Sovereigns.
Earlier, he oversaw RBI’s Credit Opportunity Desk, managing trading activities in high yielding bonds, loans and credit derivatives. Mr. Bucher received both his B.A. and M.B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Innsbruck in Austria.
