Sesame Bankhall Group’s (SBG) chief executive George Higginson is leaving the company, in a management restructure, after working for three years.
As part of the restructure, finance director Paul Hooper will also leave SBG and chairman John Cowan and managing director Stephen Gazard will take over expanded roles.

Reporting to Cowan, Gazard will head the executive team, while John Cupis, managing director of mortgages and deputy chairman of AMI and Pan Andreas wealth management director will work alongside Gazard to lead their respective sectors within the group.
Cowan will continue to lead the Sesame Bankhall board.
Hooper will be replaced by Jim Kelly as new finance director. Prior to joining SBG, Kelly has held senior roles with Lloyds Abbey Life, RBS and Aviva.
Gazard has joined SBG last year as distribution director and became managing director in June 2013. Cowan, who joined SBG in 2009 as a non-executive director, became chairman last year.
