BlackRock has named Oisin Crawley as the new head of research in its Asian fundamental equity team.
Based in Hong Kong, Crawley will report to Andrew Swan, head of Asian Fundamental Equity.

Crawley will take over portfolio management responsibilities later in the year, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Crawley served as a portfolio manager at TT International for eight years. Earlier to this, he also served as an equity research analyst at Morgan Stanley in London for six years and as an industry researcher for the Tokyo Electric Power Company.
Swan said: "The new role builds on the developments in our investment process and we look forward to Oisin adding his investment insights and skills to our Asian equity franchise."
