Alpen Capital, an investment bank with extensive presence in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and India, has launched an independent asset management firm in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

The new firm Alpen Asset Advisors will be regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and will provide services to high-net-worth individuals and institutions in the Middle East and South Asia.

Alpen Asset Advisors will also offer Sharia-compliant solutions, internally leveraged funds, and equity/debt portfolio services. The new firm will use an open architecture model in offering services to customers.
